Why Use Marble? 2018-02-27T15:13:14+00:00

Called the stone of romance, Marble is natural stone that forms from limestone in large deposits that can be mined on a large scale from quarries or mines. Marble is a light coloured rock; typically, the lighter the marble, the fewer impurities. Marble that is mixed with clay or other minerals can be grey, pink, yellow or black in colour. Marble is a very hard stone that makes it easy to carve or sculpt. With progressive, fine sanding, it can also be polished to a very high finish, making it a great choice for beautiful home furnishings.

Why Use Granite? 2018-02-27T14:51:18+00:00

Granite is a natural stone that is formed from molten lava and primarily composted of quartz. Like marble & limestone, granite is quarried from mines. It is stain-resistant, heat-resistant, scratch-resistant and comes in a full spectrum of colours. The grainy appearance in some blocks of granite come from the minerals that were mixed with the quartz when the rock was formed.
